qualified and dedicated to providing you with the best possible
care for your pets. Our team consists of:
The Vets
Grant Wienand -
BVSc., MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon Grant started the practice and 1996 and has seen it
grow to be the successful clinic it is today. Grant qualified
in 1990 at Onderstepoort University in South Africa and
has a wide range of interests within the veterinary field
including orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. He also has
a keen interest in German Shepherd dogs owning four himself!
Natasha Gauer
-BVetMed, MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon
Natasha joined the practice in December 2005. She graduated
from Cambridge University in 2003 and she has a special
interest in medicine.
Lindsey Hodes -
BVSc., MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon Lindsey qualified in 1997 from Bristol University and
has a particular interest in rabbit medicine. Lindsey joined
the practice in 2001 working full time and currently works
at the clinic on a part time basis following the birth of
her two children, her dog Kira often comes to work with
her and can usually be found greeting people in the reception
area!
Estella Kittel- MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon Stella joined the practice in 1998. She qualified from
Edinburgh University in 1985 and currently works part time.
Stella enjoys soft tissue surgery and medicine.
The Nurses
Andrea Chambers
- VN Veterinary Nurse
Andrea has been working as a veterinary nurse since 1991
and qualified from Berkshire College in 1996. She joined
the clinic in 2000. Andrea runs the puppy parties on a Wednesday
evening and trains and assesses our two student veterinary
nurses.
Teresa Barry
Teresa started at the practice in 2002 and is training to
become a veterinary nurse under the College of Animal Welfare.
Teresa is also a qualified dental nurse having previously
worked at a local dental practice. She also has lots of
pets at home having rehomed a number of cats through working
at the clinic!
Kaylee Sargent Kaylee joined the practice
in 2005 and is currently training to become a qualified
veterinary nurse. She is a keen horse rider and owns her
own pony.
The Receptionists
Julie Cockburn Julie has worked at the clinic
since 2003. She currently works part time dividing her time
between work and her busy home life including looking after
her two cats and dog.
Sue White Sue is an avid dog fan owning
six of her own. She also runs a local dog agility and training
school and regularly competes at national level. She has worked
at the clinic since 2003 and currently works part time around
her dog training!
Carole Crouch Carole works at the clinic part
time and also runs local dog training classes. She joined
the practice in 2005 having previously owned a pet shop in
Ickenham.
